Ho office jet 3830 won’t recognize WiFi router

Had to change ISPs.originally had att now switched to cable/ spectrum. Printer won’t recognize the router. I’ve reconfigured settings back to original, I manually added router details (name/pw) and no matter what I do printer won’t recognize or connect. W/o WiFi access this printer is useless for my situation. This is the same router I had w previous ISP however I never had printer connected to this router, as it was directly connected to ATT. Any possible fixes out there.

  1. What device are you using the printer with, a Windows computer, Mac, Android or an iPhone?
  2.  I would like to know, is your router set to work on 2.4 GHz network or 5 GHz network band?
  3. Are you trying to connect your printer to your home network,or public network?
  4. What is the status of the wireless light on the printer, steady or blinking?
