Hi Michael,

There are a lot of questions and answers in the Community about resetting UN/PW in EWS.  I've found the only way that really works for me is to Restore the printer to Factory Defaults, completely unplug all connections to the printer for about an hour, plug it back in, set up the printer as if new following any original documentation that came with the printer*, perform any firmware updates, reset the admin Password in EWS by logging in to the printer's IP address directly, and save the new PW in a PW log I have encrypted for security reasons.

If you don't have the original documentation and the device is still under warranty, chat or **bleep** and ask them how to find the default PW.

Good luck!

*The original documentation that came with your printer should tell you the default EWS PW, or tell you where to find it on your printer. Some models have a sticker with an 8 digit PN where you add ink and it is the default Admin PW  for EWS.
