HP Envy 5030

I am having trouble when trying to enlarge a document on the HP Envy 5030. Whatever I try on re-size it just prints it out the same size as the original.

Welcome to HP Support Forums. A really great platform for posting all your questions and finding solutions.

I understand that your Printer is printing the original size document even though you have resized the document

I'll try my best to help

Please update the Printer firmware from this Link: https://support.hp.com/gb-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-5000-all-in-one-printer-series/14095644/mod...

Then Restore the Printer to Original Factory Defaults

1. On the printer control panel display, from the Home screen, swipe left to see ( Setup ) and touch ( Setup ).

2. Touch Tools , touch Restore Factory Defaults, and then follow the onscreen instructions

You can also perform a Printer Reset

(1) Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
(2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
(3) With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
(4) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
(5) Wait at least 60 seconds.
(6) Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
(7) Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
(8) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed

Try resizing a document and print

Keep me posted how it goes

Thank you 🙂

@JEF16, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Let us try these steps:

On the printer screen, go to Copy > Copy Settings(gear icon) > Resize > Custom > enter the value as required > Save

Try making a copy.

For more info on making copies on the printer, refer to this document.

Let me know how this goes.
