As I've mentioned in an earlier post I will be losing the internet connection to my desktop but will continue to use as a word processor as well as other offline tasks.

Is there any way for me to get a file document from the offline computer to the printer? I don't see a USB port on this model printer, only land line connections.

Anyone have an suggestion?

Thanks

From the following specs, it does HAVE USB port

   https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-3830-all-in-one-printer-series/7172321/document/c0...

which is port #8 as shown on page 4 of the following manual

      http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04724956.pdf

You will need a printer cable which is similar to the following cable

            https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/keji-2m-usb-type-a-to-type-b-cable-cou2pc02

Hello BH:

Thanks so much for your reply - right on the mark. I thought I was 'old school', remembering back before wireless connectivity. You've saved me a lot of worry and concern and I appreciate your suggested replies.

Regards,

Mike

Hello:

Thanks for the reply once again:

I'm still having trouble. the printer is set to 'wi-fi off after which I have connected the USB cable from desktop to printer yet still cannot print a document. Am I doing something wrong?
