Hp envy 5530 all in one
Android 4.3 Jelly Bean

The hp eprint app no longer finds my envy 5530 all in one printer. This has recently become an issue.  The only way to print is to switch to wifi direct. This is unacceptable in that I dont like switching back and forth between my wifi to wifi direct.  What has changed in the past month?

Hey there! @bmw506, Welcome to HP forums.

I understand your printer is not getting listed in HP eprint app.

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

Did you make any changes to your printer?

As you mentioned your printer is not getting detected using HP Eprint app.

The HP ePrint app retired for Apple iOS devices on May 31, 2017. So the app will not work on your Android device anymore.

Refer this article to know more information about HP eprint app.

Also, as a replacement app for eprint you can use HP AIO app.

Refer this article to know more information about using HP AIO app.

Let me know if this answers your query!

Have a great day ahead! 🙂

Thank you so much. I have been working on this problem for days. I did not know that android was even remotely connect to android, therefore I did not connect the dots with your non support feature. But I am printing again.
