Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Photo smart 7520, the front panel screen has gone to blue death screen with "B8BEA9D4" displayed in white font.

I've done the usual troubleshooting, including power reset. Hp splash screen comes on, the loading bar is active, then goes right to blue screen.

This seems like a hardware issue with the printer. 

 

Reset the printer

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  2. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  3. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  4. Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
  5. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.

 

Check for any paper jams inside the printer and make sure the print carriage is moving freely.

Refer to the steps mentioned in this document - A 'Paper Jam' Error Displays on the HP Photosmart 7520 e-All-in-One Printer Series.

 

If the error persists, please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer. 

 

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
