m102w
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have two M102w wifi printer in my house.(living room + home office) . How can I give them a distinct name in HP SMART since then both appear under the same name (HP LASER JET M102w) under HP SMART.

MOREOVER.. I got another question.. Is it possible to print on either of them remotely (say, from my car or from cottage) I see no option under HP SMART to activate this option. (PS: i don't want to send an email to my printer... too cumbersome)

@jf4027, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

To print remotely, you have to use the HP ePrint feature where you will have to send an email to the printer. This is the only remote printing option available. You may refer to - Print with HP ePrint for more info.

Unfortunately, there is no option to rename the printer on the HP Smart app.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
