Operating System: macOS 10.14 Mojave

I need to reset the admin password for this printer. I've already done a network reset and reselected my network address/netmask/etc. The WiFi Direct password seems to have persisted thru the reset (by printing the Network Config page) but I need to reset the admin password.

Nope, that didn't work. Never got the NVRAM reset message.

your answer doesn't work.  NO message next to my name.  I have an 8620, and switched from comcast internet to fios internet, and now my HP printer is locked and all of the print/internet functions say that I need the admin password to unlock.  HELP!!
