Impossible to print from IPAD 2 Wireless to hp photosmart C5510 due to HP Smart CLUF
It's impossible to print from my iPad 2 wireless to the HP Photosmart C5510 printer using HP Smart software.

Getting trouble to accept the CLUF "declaration and security" as I don't have the Printer ID.  My printer is not able to give me the ID as indicated in the video proposed by HP.

Awaitning help to be able to print which was working fine before.

Thanks,

Daniel

Hi @danieljh

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I understand you are not able to print wirelessly from your iPad. I'd be happy to assist you.

This error may display when the Embedded Web Server (EWS) has an expired certificate that is not accepted by the operating system. This certification is necessary to secure connections with AirPrint and Secure Internet Printing Protocol (IPPs). To prevent the error, generate a new self-signed certificate from the EWS:

1.) Using the printer’s IP address, go the EWS page > Networking tab.  (tap the wireless icon on the printer to obtain the IP address)

2.) Expand Advanced Settings > Certificates > Configure > click on Create a New Self-Signed Certificate

3.) Click on Next and then click on Finish and then close the EWS window.

If the issue persists, restart the wireless router, the printer, and the iOS device.

Update the printer firmware

On the printer screen, go to Setup > Web services > Enable > Settings > Product updates

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

Also, check for any pending updates on the iOS device

Try printing.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
