I have not been able to install or print from my laptop or mobile devices in over 4 months. I have unstilled the software and reinstalled it more than 7 times and nothing seems to work. The bluetooth button on the printer itself will not turn on, when I try it just tries to load for over 5 minutes and I have to end up just restarting the printer. I am so upset that basically the printer only works to print with app and it's supposed to be "wireless".  It is very frustrating when you have a job to print from your laptop and you can't just automatically do it from the program. You have to download the file save it to a program that the app is compatible with in order to print.

Let's try a power reset on the printer

 

Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

 Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware 

 

Print and share the wireless test report-

  1. Load plain U.S. letter or A4 paper in the input tray.

  2. On the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setup icon .

  3. Swipe up on the display, touch Reports, and then touch  Wireless Test Report to print the report.
