macOS 10.15 Catalina

I am trying to open HPSmart to manage scanning documents but can't get it to open. I am using Macbook Air and haven't encountered this error before.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you

 

Try and uninstall the HP Smart and then reinstall it-

 

1) From the Dock, click Finder.

2) At the main menu hit Go, then Applications, then open the HP/Hewlett Packard folder. ...

3) Click-Drag the HP/Hewlett Packard folder to the Dock -> Trash icon.

 

Install and Use the HP Smart App (Mac)-

  1. Go to HP Smart (in English) to download and install the HP Smart app on your Mac running macOS 10.12 or later.

  2. On your computer, open the HP Smart app, and then click the Plus sign .

  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to add your printer or set up a new printer
