My Printer isn’t Working

HP Recommended
HP ENVY 4510 All-in-one printer series

My in cartridges show to be almost full, I have gone through everything with the virtual agent, but it still only prints out a blank page. It’s my late great grandmothers and it’s out of warranty. Help.

@ashfish, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Try making a standalone copy in black and color to check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

Clean the ink cartridges

  1. On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, then touch Setup.

  2. Touch Tools, then touch Clean Cartridges.

  3. If the print quality is unacceptable, click Yes when prompted to perform the next level of cleaning.

  4. NOTE:  If the printhead is badly clogged, it might require another cleaning cycle. If so, wait 30 minutes before you perform both levels of cleaning again.

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic report from the printer control panel, then evaluate the results.

  1. Make sure to load the input tray with plain, white paper.

  2. On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup.

  3. Touch Tools.

  4. Swipe up on the display, and then touch Print Quality Report.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hello,

Thank you for that advice, but after trying all of that on three different occasions, my printer is still printing blank pages. Is there anymore advice to fix this another way?

@ashfish, that's unfortunate.

This seems like a hardware issue. Either the ink cartridges or the printer has gone bad. If you have already tried using a new set of ink cartridges, then we can conclude it as a printer failure.

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
