@444David444, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Printer Connectivity Issues!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If your printer is online and the HP app on your phone shows it as connected but the printer is not printing, there are several steps you can follow to troubleshoot the issue:
Check Printer Connectivity:
- Ensure that the printer is connected to the correct network and that the connection is stable.
- Verify that the printer has a functional connection to the internet. This can sometimes be confirmed by printing a network configuration page from the printer.
Verify Print Job Submission:
- Make sure the print jobs are being submitted correctly. Select "Send to HP Roam" or the appropriate printer from the list in the print menu of the HP Roam App.
- Ensure the print job is not corrupted and fits the file size limits (80 MB for RAW file format and 400 MB for processed through cloud services).
Check the Printer Queue:
- Print jobs are held in the HP Roam cloud queue for 72 hours. Ensure that jobs are not outside this window.
- Check for any error messages or notifications on the HP Roam Mobile App.
Enable Bluetooth and Location Services:
- Ensure Bluetooth and Location services are enabled on your Android or iOS device. This helps the HP Roam App automatically discover nearby printers.
Confirm Printer Settings:
- Go to the Embedded Web Server (EWS) of your printer and make certain:
- Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is enabled.
- Web Services are enabled and the printer has an ePrint email address assigned.
- Proxy settings are configured correctly if necessary.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
