Product: HP envy 5055
Operating System: macOS 10.13 High Sierra

My hp envy 5055 printer keeps saying “paper jam” and there is no paper jammed at all. No debris that I can see , nothing. I have tried unplugging  it for 10 seconds, 15 seconds, 30 minutes, hours, it still turns on with “paper jam” on the screen. I have also tried to shut it all the way down (without unplugging) and the buffering “shutting down” signal just sat on the screen for hours and never went away.

If you have already performed the steps from the document Paper Jam Error and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
