My printer wont print in color only in black

Welcome to the HP Support Community. 


To better assist you - 


1) What's the operating system installed on the computer? 

2) Which application are you trying to print from? Have you tried printing from any other application? 

3) Are you using a genuine HP ink? 

4) Are you experiencing the same issue while making a copy as well? 


While you respond to that, I'd suggest you check the ink levels - 


On the printer control panel, touch the Ink Level Indicator icon . The control panel displays estimated ink levels.


If the ink cartridges are low on ink, replace them and if the ink levels are not low, print a Print Quality Diagnostic Page. To print a Print Quality Diagnostics Page, try these steps - 


1) Load plain white paper in the input tray.
2) From the printer control panel, open the Setup  menu.
3) Open the Reports or Tools menu.
4) Touch Print Quality Report.
