Office jet pro 7740 cartridge issue

Hi ,

Office jet pro 7740 has been working absolutely fine until I changed the cartridge

Black cartridge needed replacing, which I did. It is a original brand new HP cartridge.

The message on display is - Depleted Cartridge, must be replaced.

I have tried 2 brand new ones and it is still not working. I unplugged the printer, etc. It just will not print.

Any solutions please?

I understand you are facing a cartridge error.

 

If you have already performed the steps from the document Ink cartridge errors and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
