Operating System: iOS

When I open my word document to print in the HP Smart App - it shows it as grey and then prints it in grey.   The original is a black and white doc.   I have chosen 'black only' and it still prints grey.  Is there a fix?

To be able to assist you better, I'd like to know the following-

 

Does the print preview look good?

Have you tried printing using AirPrint? Follow the steps from the document https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02775166 for help. See if that makes any difference.
