Printer. It accepting ink cartridge

HP Recommended
HP Emvy 5052
macOS 10.15 Catalina

Ok so I tried to print something and it wouldn’t let me and it was telling me I was out of ink the black ink, so I bought new ink and now it’s saying, “ remove and reinstall the indicated cartridge making sure it is correctly installed. If this message continues to appear replace the indicated cartridge.“ I have replaced them both and re-installed them multiple times and I just keep getting the same message. My printer is probably almost 2 years old but it’s probably not been used more than 50 times at the most.

If you have already performed the steps from the document HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
