HP Officejet 4630 e-All-in-one Printer

Product Number: B4L03A

1.  "Pull out paper tray.  Load plain paper, then press ok".

2.  Pressed ok

3.  Printer displays "Now printing alignment page" . I have disconnected power cord, but it still goes back to "Now printing alignment page".

4.  It won't do anything.  I cut it off.  Right back to #1 above.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the alignment page issue. 

 

Let's try these steps to reset the printer - 

 

1) Take out the cartridges.

2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.

3) Wait for 30 seconds. 

4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not to a surge protector.

5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

 

Try updating the printer's firmware. Refer to this document for steps - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

 

If the issue still persists, try cleaning the ink cartridges. Refer to step#3 from this document.
