I suddenly got an error saying there is a problem with the printer or ink system. If the problem persists contact HP, I have tried to unplug my printer the turn it on again and I still get this error. There is no error code though. Can anyone help tell me what to do?

@Katiemix1989 Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that you are getting a problem with the ink system message.
Please perform the hard reset and check.
Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 60 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed
Please refer to the below link to troubleshoot the issue.
Please replace the ink cartridges and check.
