Product: Hp envy photo printer 7100 series
Operating System: macOS 10.14 Mojave

I just purchased an hp envy photo printer

and have it setup with a usb cable .

it won’t pull paper out of the photo paper 

tray.

@Sharpie30, Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

I see that you have issues with your photo tray picking up the paper to print from, let us try to isolate and resolve the issue.

 

Ensure that the paper is loaded correctly into the tray. Refer to the document  Loading Paper, Cards, Envelopes for help.

 

If you still have issues, follow steps from the document 'Out of Paper' Displays, Printer Does Not Pick Up Paper for further assistance.
