My HP laptop and HP 4100 series printer have worked seamlessly together for a couple of years. We moved, and now the laptop "sees" the printer, but will not connect wirelessly. I did every step multiple times before contacting customer support, who then informed me that my 2 options were to pay $19.95 for customer support or subscribe to a "service" for a minimum of $6.99 per month.

Has anyone else experienced this? My feeling is that I paid plenty for the laptop, the printer, and the exorbitant cost of HP ink and should not have to pay extra for the device(s) to perform in the manner that I purchased them for. After being a loyal HP customer, this will be the last HP product I will ever purchase 😞

Which of these 4100 is your printer?  Possibly the printer your systems sees cannot operate in the Wi-Fi band your system is using.

Let me know which one is yours,.
