iOS

I have my printer set up. It communicates with my computer and shows in my iPhone WiFi select but WILL NOT CONNECT to HP Smart APP.

@JudeMoon2, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

  • Which version of iOS are you using?
  • Make sure the printer and the iPhone are connected to the same wireless network.
  • This printer supports only 2.4GHz network.
  • If you are using WiFi Direct to connect the printer and the iPhone, you will not have internet access on the iPhone.
  • To know more about connecting the printer via WiFi Direct, refer to this document.

For now, let us try these steps to resolve this issue:

 

Update the printer firmware

Alternatively, try printing using AirPrint driver(recommended)
