So I’m trying to print pictures that I get from my dad for his work . He sends me a picture of the documents and I then print them but when I do they’re printing all faded in color ink instead of just black and white . It wasn’t having this issue before but now it is. I have black and white printing set on my iPhone and in the printer it self but it still prints them color and it just doesn’t look good it looks color blended and faded really bad . Any ideas on how to fix this ?

@Emilianoorozco9, Welcome to HP Support Community!

To be able to assist you better, I would like to know the following:

  • Are you using the HP Smart App or Apple AirPrint feature to print from?
  • What happens when you make photocopies on the printer?

Meanwhile, ensure that the printer is up to date with its firmware and iOS is up to date with its software. If you are unsure you may use the links below to update the printer firmware and iOS software:

Update printer firmware

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Keep me posted for further assistance.
