My printer has been just fine since I got it. It wont connect to my schools wifi so I have been using Wifi Direct. I have no had it for 2 months and just today it will not let me print. I looked to see if Wifi Direct was on and it is. I try to connect my computer to the printer "wifi" name and print my page but then it says the my printer is offline. How do I fix this? My printer was never connected to wifi because I was using wifi direct and its saying its "offlne" I need help ASAP

@Destiny0000,

Thanks for reaching out to the HP Support community!

  • What is the model of your printer?
  • What computer do you have? Is it Windows or MAC?

Let's try to restart the printer and PC, it may fix the issue:

  • Make sure this printer is plugged into a direct wall, not a surge protector.
  • Turn the printer on.
  • Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. Wait at least 60 seconds
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  • Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
  • Restart the PC
  • Try to connect the PC to the printer's wifi

Let me know if this helps.
