I read the TOS and learnt that HP monitors ink levels, page counts and type of documents printed.
Do they get to access the documents that I print? This would be a serious invasion of privacy.

Hey @expresso,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I see that you are wondering if the Instant Ink program provides HP with access to the documents you print. The service does not. All the printer does is communicates ink levels and number of pages printed to the program.
Please let me know if this answers your question. If it does, please click on Accept Solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. Both icons are below this post.

When the printer has Instant Ink cartridges in the printer and they start to run low, the printer notifies the server and the server sets up an order. This is dependent on having Instant Ink cartridges as the printer does not read or send any information regarding non-Instant Ink cartridges.
