Unable to communicate with printer in hp smart

I have tried everything, but cannot get Envy 4520 printer to communicate with my new Samsung A20 phone. This is the most unfriendly user printer I have ever owned.

Everything is a lot.

The printer is likely about four years old.  Much has changed since this model was introduced in 2015.

Having noted that, there are indications (in the documentation) that something should work.   I can understand your frustration.
