I have a new router/modem installed.  I know I need to update the network on the printer, however, all the virtual  support info talks about holding down the wireless button for 3 seconds until flashing.  I don't think my model does that,  it is not a button, just an icon with a caution marker over it showing I am not connected.  I also can't get to wireless wizard that is talked about as every category I choose in set up is asking for a password to move on, which I don't have.  Do I need to download the manual?  I assume I need to unprotect whatever password is there to be able to enter the new ssid and wi fi password, correct?  Or is there a simpler solution?

Hi,

Click the Setup Icon, select Network Settings and then select Restore Network Defaults. be sure to confirm any prompt.

Next, click Setup > Network Settings > Wireless Settings and select Wireless Setup Wizard, then follow the steps on the screen.

If you may refer to any Administrator Password being required, try using any password you may have set, an Administrator Password is set by the printer owner, it never has any such preconfigured.

Please let me know if that may help,

Shlomi

Thanks for the reply, however, I can't get beyond network settings without a password.  I have tried so many already and none of them work.  My husband is the one who initially set up and he can't remember putting in a password either. Is there no way to unprotect the password or another solution.  I can't get to the screen where  you want me to be.  Then I'm sure the solution would be easy.
