Envy 7800

Right then... long story..

I recently purchased a HP Envy new and was busy setting up the instant ink when it took me to a registration page. I filled this in with a Google email address and signed up to instant ink with my various card details. All seemed fine at this point with no error on the registration page.

However, I did not get any emails from HP. I went to login using that gmail but I got a "email not recognised".

After some digging, i found i had a hp connect account via my hotmail so I logged into that. Then I tried to add my printer using the claim code and I keep getting invalid code!!! Done this a good number of times and I keep getting the same invalid response.

So my problem is this...

1. What the hell is going on? Is this printer now locked up with another hp connect profile which i cannot access?

2. If so, How do I get this new printer onto my hotmail related HP Connect if I cannot access my gmail HP Connect account?

Hi,

On the printer screen click the HP ePrint icon and select Settings or click the gear icon, then select Remove Web Services and confirm any prompt.

Open the HP ePrint menu again and follow the steps to re-enable the service, then a new valid claim code will be printed.
