Hi,

 

We are having the same issue with the password and currently can not reset. We tried the basic step but it still requests a password.

 

Can you provide the full reset procedure, please.

The only option left is to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer. 

 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer. 

 

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Can you please send me the reset instruction. my printer has same problem with the pasword. i cannot configure any seetings its always asking pasword. please help as soon as possible.

We have this printer model: HP Color LaserJet  MFP M181fw  which we cannot use because the settings is lock with password.

So please send us guide how to reset the password of the printer.
