Hello!

I bought my printer second hand, and while setting it up it became apparent that I would need an admin username and password for various features. Quite a few of them appear to have been locked by the admin. I do not have access to these details, as the seller has forgotten what they changed them to. I attempted to restore the network defaults as advised, but this hasn't changed anything.

Is there a way to reset the admin details if you don't have access to them? I feel like I'm going around in circles.

@gingerkitkats, Welcome to HP Support Community!

There are no admin reset options on the printer, you may have to contact the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

I hope that answers your concern adequately. Let me know!
