MFP M479fdw

** [We need help with this device so our clinic can continue patient care during the COVID-19 Pandemic.  Please help.] **

Hello,

We just purchased an MFP M479fdw for the purpose of scanning documents directly to Google Drive.  I setup the MFP via the touch screen (ie, without a computer), and it connects to WiFi.  I was also successful in logging into the Google Drive app on the MFP.  However, when I attempt to scan to Google Drive, the MFP touchscreen shows the error "There was an internal processing error.  Please retry or manually check the firmware updates."

But there are no updates available when I go to Printer Maintenance in the MFP's Settings.

When I try to go to the Google Drive app after this, the MFP touchscreen shows the error "The user [scan@ourdomain.com] token has expired.  Please remove the user and add again."  So, then I have to remove my Google account and start all over.

I spent hours trying to figure it out and am now at a loss.  I have called HP Support twice with no progress.  They suggested I speak with HP Cloud Services, but when I call Cloud Services, it says no one is available to help (perhaps because of COVID shelter-in-place).

Any suggestions?  Please help.

Thank you!
