HP Smart Tank 5105 All-in-One Printer

Hi there,

I currently have a HP Smart tank that I bought back in 2021.

This printer came with the option to use HPs EPrint services, which used to work fine.

However, this seems to have stopped working, and I can no longer obtain the email for the printer.

This means that I can no longer use the service.

Is anyone aware as to why this might be?

I have checked that Web Services is on, but cannot find the option for EPrint anywhere.

Many thanks,

Adam

Hi @Adam349,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you have trouble using the HP Smart Tank 5105 All-in-One Printer with the e-print future, Sorry to hear about the issue.

E-Print function is discontinued, and as your printer was purchased in 2021, please try to use the Print Anywhere this will help.

Enable the Private Pickup feature to hold jobs for later release (optional)

Print Anywhere for the HP Smart app is a feature that allows you to print remotely over the internet from anywhere.

Before you begin, your printer must be set up in the HP Smart app with an HP account. For more information, go to HP+ printer setup (HP Smart app).

1. Open the HP Smart app, and then click the Account icon or the icon with your initials.

2. Sign in to your account if prompted, and then click Manage HP Account.

3. Under your Account Dashboard, click Solutions, and then click Print Anywhere.

4. Under My Printers, make sure to Allow printing from anywhere is on, and then enable Require Private Pickup.

Enabling Require Private Pickup in the HP Smart app

For  more help please use the steps from this link:  HP Print Anywhere
