@15tx, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To remove a name from the back of a picture and print over it with plain white, follow these steps:

1. Edit the Image

  • Choose an Image Editing Software: Use software like Photoshop, GIMP, or even simpler tools like Paint.
  • Open the Image: Load the image file in your chosen editing program.
  • Select the Area: Use a selection tool (like the rectangular or lasso tool) to highlight the area where the name is located.
  • Cover the Name: Use the “Fill” tool to fill the selected area with white, or use the “Clone Stamp” tool to cover the name with a matching background texture.

2. Save the Image

  • After editing the image to cover the name, save the file in a print-friendly format such as JPEG, PNG, or TIFF.

3. Print Over the White Canvas

  • Open the Image for Printing: Use software like HP Smart or a standard photo viewer to open the edited image.
  • Select Print Settings: Choose "Borderless" or "Fill Page" to ensure the white area fully covers the page without margins.
  • Print on Plain White Paper: Make sure your printer is set to print on plain white paper or canvas.

4. Test Print

  • Perform a test print to check the quality and ensure that the name is properly removed and replaced with white.
  • Adjust print settings for color density, contrast, or paper type if necessary to achieve the best results.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
