HP OfficeJet Pro 9012e All-in-One Printer

How do I perform  a Complete Factory Reset of the Control Panel Lock username and password on my HP  Officejet Pro 9012e All-in-One? I forgot it completely and now find myself unable to do any wireless related work with the device, and I am unable to do the usual resets as it requires a user name and password.

The printer is no longer connected to the network so I am unable to obtain the  IP address to try and connect it to the EWS.

I feel I may need to completely reset the printer, but I am unsure how to do this.

Is anyone able to help?

Hi @KAT181,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

We have to perform a Semi Full Reset to unlock the features of the printer/Reset the password.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
