Unable to sign into wifi direct after resetting printer to factory settings

I can't remember the wifi direct password. I have tried to reset the printer and use the factory settings password 12345678. But it's not working

Wi-Fi Direct connects the printer directly to your computer using the printer's onboard wireless card.

Wi-Fi Direct is usually a toggle setting (click on / click off) on the printer.
