Hi @RandyBer,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your HP printer is printing duplicate copies when you only request one from your iPhone 14 Pro. Here are a few steps to troubleshoot this issue.
Check Print Settings:
- On your iPhone, go to the app you're printing from (e.g., Photos, Mail, etc.).
- When you select the print option, check the print settings to ensure it's set to print only one copy.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Make sure your printer's firmware is up to date. Check the HP website for any available updates and install them if needed.
Reset Printer Settings:
- Sometimes, resetting the printer to its default settings can resolve issues. Refer to your printer’s manual for instructions on how to reset it.
Reinstall Printer on iPhone:
- Remove the printer from your iPhone’s list of printers and then add it again. To do this, go to Settings > Printers on your iPhone, select the printer, and remove it. Then, go back to the print settings and select your printer again.
Check Printer Queue:
- Ensure that there are no pending print jobs in the printer queue that might be causing the duplication. You can usually check this from the printer’s control panel or HP Smart app.
Update HP Smart App:
- If you're using the HP Smart app, make sure it's updated to the latest version. Sometimes, app updates fix bugs that could be causing the issue.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
