Product: HP deskjet 2540
Operating System: macOS 10.12 Sierra

The Wireless Setup Wizard IP address for my HP deskjet 2540 does not open http://192.168.223.1 in either Safari or Chrome, so I can't install the printer. This address worked successfully only a couple of weeks ago? Any assistance appreciated.

Hi,

This should only work when connected to the HP-Setup or HP-Direct network of your printer first, else it will not be accessible,

 

If you have a router, please use the HP Smart app to connect the printer to your network.

 

Follow 'Connect a printer that does not have a touchscreen control panel > Step 2: Connect the printer with the HP Smart app > Mac' below to connect the printer to your wireless network:
