I bought a used printer and just got it. When I turned it on it says used instant ink (cartridge can only be uses in printer that initially installed it and it will not let me go past it. I tried cleaning the contacts,restarting it multiple times. I cant connect the printer at all and i can't get past this step.

Hi,

Is it an HP Instant Ink cartridge? it should be listed on its label.

 

HP Instant Ink cartridges cannot be used any longer as the previous owner has canceled the service, you will need to replace them with standard ink cartridges.

 

It will help to get some better understanding if you may provide a picture of both cartridges labels.
