I am able to print from my desktop directly on the network printer but somehow my eprint (sending document to an email address assigned to printer) stopped working and cannot figure out why. The status on the printer shows eprint is enabled and I am using the right email address (I have been using this for some time now). Any help would be appreciated.

Please click the help light (?) and select Printer Information.
Could you let me know what is the listed firmware version of your printer?

Thanks for clarifying.
Please try setting a manual DNS address for your printer and check if that may make any difference.
From the EWS page of your printer select the Network tab and then select IPv4 Settings.
Set the Primary DNS as 8.8.8.8 and the Secondary as 8.8.4.4
Click Apply and check if you may see any difference then. below steps shown how to access the EWS page:

Try using HP ePrint and check if you may see any difference, if the same remain please go through below steps to troubleshoot a such:
