it's a HP Smart issue and that I have two accounts but trying to delete the older one. The older one has a password that I don't know what it is? I get in by using my mobile phone number alternative. How do look to see if this old account is critcal to anything that I use now, then how to delete it ?

If you need to manage or delete an old HP account associated with your HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All-in-One Printer, follow these steps:

Identify Account Usage:

  • Check Associated Services: Determine if the older account is linked to essential services such as printer settings, subscriptions, or warranty details that you may need.
  • Usage History: Review the history of logins and any connected devices through the account settings if possible.

Reset Password:

  • If you don't know the password for the older account and you cannot access it, use the account recovery options provided by HP.
  • Recover Password: Use the mobile phone number alternative to reset the password:

Delete the Account:

  • Log in to the HP Account:
  • Account Management:
    • Navigate to Account Settings or Profile Settings.
    • Look for options related to account deletion or deactivate the account.
    • Follow the provided steps to permanently delete the account.
