ink cartridge incorrectly installed HP OJ 150 all-in-one

Please help. I just got this printer from a friend. She said it has never had this issue.  I installed a brand new cartridge into my HJ Officeject 150 all in one and nothing works. I can't print. it says the color ink cartridge is not installed correctly. i turned it off and on. installed/reinstalled. cleaned it, everything. nothing is helping

 

the answers here say they are answering in a private message. where can i find a solution that will help me? i am very frustrated as I just want to print something. thanks!!

 

i've watched the videos on the tiny screen. I have installed it countless times. I have removed the film protector. I have cleaned the area with a soft, lint free cloth. I don't understand how so many people can have this problem. It's a new cartridge. just took it out of the package. the printer is correctly installed with my computer. 

 

please help. i really want to use my new printer! it seems like it will be really great (once I can get it to work, that is.)

If you have already performed the steps from the document  Ink Cartridge Errors and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
