my HP printer lost connection to my i phone hot spot - was connecting - all of sudden stopped - why?

Hi @huntclub

Welcome to the HP Support Community. To assist you better, I would like to know the following:

  • What model printer are you using?
  • Which version of iOS is installed?

It is recommended not to use the mobile hotspot for a printer connection. It may not work. Connect the printer and the mobile device to a wireless router for better connectivity.

 

To know how to connect the printer to a wireless network, refer to this document.

 

If you do not have access to a wireless router, use Wifi-Direct to connect the printer and the mobile device. Refer to this document to know how.
