I print from wifi connection. Other people use my wifi, therefore would have the ability to connect to the printer and print. I need to know how to setup a password for the printer, so that only I can print from my printer?

Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

If others have not setup the printer on their computer they will not be able to print

You can disable sharing options so that others cannot access your printer or files over the network

  1. Select the Start  button, then select Settings  > Network & Internet  > Wi-Fi.
2. Under Related settings, select Change advanced sharing options.
  3. In the Advanced sharing settings dialog box, expand the Private section. Next, under Network discovery, select Turn on network discovery.
  4. Under File and printer sharing, select Turn OFF file and printer sharing.

You can refer to this Link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/4089224/windows-10-share-network-printer

Keep me posted how it goes
