Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My printer is offline since I changed my router. I tried numerous things such as: restarting everything, desinstalling the printer, I used hp scan doctor to look for a solution. When I see the wifi network that is related to my printer, it looks to be the same as on my computer. I can print when I connect the printer to my computer with a wire.

(sorry if  my english is approximate 🙂

My printer is a hp deskjet 2652 - 3 in 1

thank you...it's driving me crazy!!

@louprou, Welcome to HP Support Community!

I see that you are unable to connect the printer on the network. To further assist you, I'd like to know the following-

  • What is the make and model of your router?
  • Is your router dual-band enabled i.e., both 2.4GHz and 5GHz?
  • What is the distance between the router and the printer?

Refer to this document HP Printers - Changing from a USB to a Wireless Connection for help.

Keep me posted.

Thanks a lot for your response.

I followed the link saying how to change from usb to wifi. I thought that was it! ...but then, they asked me for the password of my printer...which I don't remember creating!

My router is ZyXEL model : EMG2926-Q10A2.4GHz

I don't understand what you mean when you say: is your dual band is enabled...how can I do that? I'm not very competent with technology...

Thanks again for your help!
