Two Caveats:
I could be wrong about your particular situation.
I don't work for HP.
Discussion:
- I'm not sure you can get back your original address.
- The service is incredibly fussy about the manner in which you can "reuse" an address.
- WHY you need to go back - for example, the address changed out from under you - does not appear to have any impact on the outcome.
- I have been caught (for various reasons) more than once - I am now using a variance of my original ePrint email address that includes the number "3" tagged onto the name to make it different enough that the service accepts it.

Original Address: DragonFur @ hpeprint.com
Current Address: DragonFur3 @ hpeprint.com
