Whenever I send a document for printing, my printer sends the message that it's waiting for the job to be completed. Then prints a blank page, then does nothing.

When I try to send it again, it says the printer is busy. 

 

I've tried to reset all printer systems in my Mac, I've uninstalled and re-installed the HP app, it didn't work. I've unplugged the printer and plugged it again to do a hard reset, didn't work either.

 

It used to work perfectly fine until last week it printed a page saying that the printer software or drives were updated.

To be able to assist you better, I'd like to know the following-

  • How is the printer connected to the computer?
  • Is there any antivirus/security software installed on the computer?
  • Which application are you trying to print from?
