HP DeskJet 3762 All-in-One Printer

I've setup a system where the printer receives messages from a typeform form via an e-mailadres.
When the printer has limited connectivity when the e-mail is sent, the job doesn't print.

In the docs it says I should be able to manage a queue on the hpconnected website.

When I click that link I get redirected to the hpsmart website.
I added my printer and configured webservices earlier, I can choose various options, but I cannot find a queue for e-mail jobs to manage.

Where should I look, and is it possible to automatoically retry an e-mailjob

Welcome to the HP User Community.

The short answer is:

  • There is no ePrint queue and no method to see what is queued, what was queued, print status.
  • There is no method to automatically resubmit a failed job
  • There is no way to verify a failed job other than the possible receipt of a "job failed email" from ePrint.

Whatever "doc"s you are using are perhaps wrong, wrong in this instance, outdated, or (likely) just missing information to explain the severe limitations for using ePrint.

ePrint is free, older technology, usually works, and is provided "as is".

My Opinion:  ePrint is not particularly structured or suited to support the needs of a business environment.

HP Connected / HP Smart does not - with the possible exception of a very few (older?) printer models - provide any access at all to ePrint operations, queue management, printer queue lists...
