General Information - Discussion - Personal Observations

This is not usually something you want to solve by asking another person to get into your computer.  Having said that, if you cannot figure out what is going on you may have to ask for help from a friend, family member, or someone at your church, schoold, or community center.  You can also take the computer to a trusted repair shop - licensed technicians have the skills to find out who (or what) has been accessing your computer files.  

What you do not want:  Do not ask someone you find on the Internet to connect to your computer remotely to "check" for you.  These people are almost universally either bad actors (scum, rodents, scammers) or they will charge you a lot of money to use the same tools that you can use for yourself.  This is a personal opinion, of course.

Reminder - Be Careful out there...

If you download any monitoring / checking tools from the Internet - and especially if you do not know the company is legitimate - chances are the that any "monitoring" or reporting tools that you download and use might also be sending data back to the people who offered you the software.  Might.  If you are not sure, don't do it.

If the problem is pervasive, that is, if people or programs are hacking into your computer, it is perhaps time to invest in some decent paid security software that can help you tie down any loose ends and help protect your data.  Cannot purchase security software?  Use the best free stuff you can find in your region.  Windows Defender is already on your computer - use it, learn about it, set it the way you want it.  Depending on where you live on the planet, there are security software companies that can help - ask your friends, business partners, and family what they are using and what they recommend.  READ and make a decision, then act.
