wifi direct question

i have a secured network. my pri ter is set up on that network wirelessly. i initially set up my printers wifi direct connection as automatic. after noticing random documents(im assuming from my neighbors who are not on my personal network) printing from my printer. i found out i needed to change my connection to manual. doing so i noticed a count for devices in the settings. it is at 3, and i only own 1. im assuming even after switching to manual, devices that have used my printer in the past(neighbors) still have unlimited access to my printer. my question is. how do i have my printer forget all past devices and start over? and make it that my wifi direct network is hidden from the public that is not on my personal network? could this be an issue with my internet provider odfering public hotspot or my router running 2.4 and 5ghz bands? makes me think my network isnt as private as i thought.

Hi,

There is no wayto hide your wifi direct network once it is turned on. The network will be visible to other devices but as long as it's password protected, nobody will be able to join and print from your device. You can turn the password ona nd off using the wireless settinsg on the printer front panel.
